Povilas Meškėla, Česlovas Gabalis and Jeronimas Milius, three of the country's best rock vocalists, together with the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, conducted by maestro Gintaras Rinkevičius, are preparing a special program of love ballads on the occasion of the Day of Love. It is not known if anyone loves hotter and more passionately than rockers, whose hearts filled with freedom and fierce sensations are so often melted by the charm and tenderness of women, and love stories not only become iconic legends but inspire the creation of songs that thousands sing.
This evening, the beloved ballads shall be even more expressive and emotional, as they will be performed by the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra conducted by maestro Gintaras Rinkevičius, together with Povilas Meškėla, Česlovas Gabalis and Jeronimas Milius. "Everything in rock music is real, relaxed, sincere," – says Povilas Meškėla. “Anyone can stand up and scream. But after a while, it dissolves in the crowd of all those that are screaming. To perform rock well, you need to have inner strength – not only in voice but also in the soul. Stubbornness. Here, people do everything from the heart – it is the cry of their soul. Such music is lived, carried, matured and, most importantly, time-tested.” Therefore, while preparing this particular concert program, we never doubted the fact that this concert is the best choice for the Day of Love.
