The Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, led by its artistic director and chief conductor Gintaras Rinkevičius, arrives in Utena. Together with soprano Lina Dambrauskaite and tenor Karolis Kašiuba, the orchestra will invite you to the Cultural Centre of Utena, where they will present a program of opera arias that have become classic masterpieces.

After graduating with a master's degree in classical vocal studies from prof. Sigutė Stonytė’s class at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, Lina Dambrauskaitė went on an internship at the Opera Studio of the Royal Academy of London. In 2015 L. Dambrauskaitė made her debut at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre, in 2017 – with the ensemble of Vilnius City Opera. In that same year she won an internship at the Opera Studio of the Royal Academy of Music in London. In 2019 L. Dambrauskaitė joined the Young Performers program in Zurich, Switzerland, where she has recently been living and working. She has already given concerts in Great Britain, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, South Korea, China and elsewhere. In addition to important roles in opera, the soprano is often invited to sing in various vocal works, including Haydn's "The Creation" and G. Mahler's Fourth Symphony with Mirga Gražinyte-Tyla and the Birmingham City Symphony Orchestra. In 2022 L. Dambrauskaitė won the “Golden Cross of the Stage” for the role of Marie in G. Donizetti's opera "La fille du régiment" and the role of Sophie in R. Strauss's opera "Der Rosenkavalier".

Tonight, the soloist's partner on stage is tenor Karolis Kašiuba, who is promised extremely great prospects. In 2015 the tenor graduated from Juozas Gruodis Conservatory in Kaunas. In 2022 he obtained a master's degree at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre (prof. Irena Milkevičiūtė's class). Since 2021 K. Kašiuba has been working as an intern at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre and has already prepared roles in such operas as G. Verdi's "Traviata", G. Puccini's "La Boheme", R. Strauss's "Der Rosenkavalier", P. Tchaikovsky's "Eugene Onegin", W. A. Mozart's “The Magic Flute”, etc. The soloist has also performed with the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, the Lithuanian National Philharmonic’s chamber ensemble "Musica Humana", etc.

On this evening, he Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra shall be conducted by its founder, artistic director and chief conductor, National Prize laureate maestro Gintaras Rinkevičius.
