"Merūnas is a top-class vocal professional," – said Lithuanian opera legend prof. Virgilijus Noreika about his student Merūnas Vitulskis. Today, no one doubts that: M. Vitulskis is appreciated by classical professionals, welcomed in the famous European opera houses and loved by the audience for the beauty, warmth and sincerity of his voice. “Tenors who sing so beautifully are rare. Merūnas is a very talented person, endowed by nature and God, so I really believe that he will be accompanied by fame,” – claims maestro Gintaras Rinkevičius.

It seems that these words are destined to come true. M. Vitulskis has already performed in prestigious opera houses, such as the Austrian National Opera, the Wiener Staatsoper, the Graz Opera, the French Opera, the Opera Lille, the Italian San Carlo theatre, and the Grand Opera in Luxembourg, where the premiere performance was witnessed by the family of the Duke of Luxembourg. In 2017 M. Vitulskis gave his recital at the Berlin Philharmonic together with the Royal Symphony Orchestra, conducted by maestro Konstantin Orbelian. Despite his success abroad, the soloist never forgets Lithuania and is regularly invited to sing in the performances of the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theater.

During this evening Merūnas together with the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra shall perform the most beautiful arias from operas written by Italian opera masters Gaetano Donizetti (1797–1848), Ruggero Leoncavallo (1857–1919) ir Giacomo Puccini (1858–1924). The concert will be conducted by Gintaras Rinkevičius, the founder, artistic director and chief conductor of the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra.
