Concert Programme
D. Brown. Wild Symphony
The Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra presents a wonderful premiere for children and the whole family – "Wild Symphony," a children's work by the cult American author Dan Brown (b. 1964), the bestselling writer of "Angels & Demons", "The Da Vinci Code", and "Inferno".
Are you ready for an adventure? Scaling trees and soaring across seas alongside Maestro Mouse and her musical troupe of friends, you will meet a giant blue whale, speedy cheetahs, tiny beetles, and graceful swans. Each of them holds a secret they would love to share. "For each animal in the story, I wrote an original piece of modern classical music – a short, fun composition that reflects the animal's unique personality. And through the use of new technologies, the music for each animal is accompanied by illustrations and text, creating a completely immersive storytelling experience," says Dan Brown.
"Wild Symphony" is an unforgettable experience for the whole family, magically intertwining an intriguing story, symphonic music, and visual art. Dan Brown's musical adventure will come to life at the LVSO Concert Hall with spectacular video projections and verses read by actress Gintarė Latvėnaitė from the children's favorite book, which was also published in Lithuanian in 2020 (translated by Julius Keleras). The Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra will be conducted by Egidijus Kaveckas.
The concert is recommended for children aged 3–10.
