Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, conducted by its artistic director and chief conductor Gintaras Rinkevičius, arrives in Panevėžys, Birštonas and Druskininkai. Together with the soloists, one of the most famous Lithuanian mezzo-sopranos Ieva Prudnikovaitė and baritone Romanas Kudriašovas, the orchestra will invite you to the concert halls of the Birštonas Culture Centre, Palace of Communities of Panevėžys and “Eglė” sanatorium in Druskininkai, where they will present a program of opera masterpieces.

Ieva Prudnikovaitė graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in 2008, and in that same year became a laureate of the International Singers Competition in Cologne (Germany). Since 2008 I. Prudnikovaitė has been a soloist with the Aalto Opera House in Essen (Germany). One of the most prominent roles created by the singer is Carmen in G. Bizet’s opera Carmen (2009), for which I. Prudnikovaitė won the “Lighthouse of the Opera” award as the best opera soloist of the year. In addition to her beloved genre of opera, I. Prudnikovaitė often performs various concert programs, and one of her favourite projects is a tango music program with the ensemble "4Tango". In 2002 The “4Tango” ensemble became the finalist of the Astor Piazzolla International Competition in Italy.

After studying at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, baritone Romanas Kudriašovas studied singing at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg, the International Voice Academy of Wales and the London National Opera, and participated in many international master classes abroad. The soloist has already performed at the Glyndebourne Festival (United Kingdom), the National Opera of Wales, the Liverpool Philharmonic, and the Abu Dhabi Festival. R. Kudriašovas is also part of the the Vilnius City Opera ensemble.

On this evening, the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra will be conducted by its founder, artistic director and chief conductor, National Prize winner Gintaras Rinkevičius.
